The final event of the ATP Champions Tour makes another festive appearance at the Royal Albert Hall this December. The iconic British venue will play host to a line-up of tennis legends, including Mark Philippoussis, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Carlos Moya, Mansour Bahrami and Tim Henman. Commencing on 6 December 2018, Champions Tennis is a four-day tournament of fast-paced action and world-class tennis from the legends of the game, mixed with the usual tinge of humour.

Ferrero will be looking to emulate his success from last year’s event, where he took on Marat Safin to win the final match of this marquee Champion’s Tour event. Circuit regulars Moya and Philippoussis will compete alongside home favourite Tim Henman in a bid to claim the highly coveted end of year victory. Ever-popular entertainer Bahrami will also be returning to the court, giving spectators plenty to look forward to from trick shots to quick-fire banter with the players and umpires.

The tournament, now in its 22nd year, is comprised of an afternoon and an evening session per day -with two scheduled matches per session; one competitive singles match and one entertaining doubles match.

With more player announcements due in the coming weeks, this year’s Champions Tennis is set to be the biggest and most exciting yet, with plenty to see on and off the court.

Charlie Grave, MD UK Tennis, IMG – which operates the ATP Champions Tour – said: “Champions Tennis is a seasonal show-stopper that brings together some of the biggest names in tennis history.

“Having the Royal Albert Hall as our venue never fails to create an exciting atmosphere around the tournament and is a great place to watch players battle it out on centre court.”
